new family pictures!

Another family picture down! We threw this session together at the last minute and miraculously got our Christmas cards out on time :)

We can't wait to add another little angel to our family! We're praying that it will happen this year before we get our next family picture done. But we also have faith that it will happen in the Lord's time.

We're pretty blessed to have Emily in our family- it seems selfish to want another child! We both grew up with siblings and know the joy each child brings to a family. We hope to be able to bring more children into our happy family to love!

emily turns 6!

We took Emily with her cousins and a friend to Chuck E. Cheese's for Emily's sixth birthday!

She is growing up so fast! It's amazing to watch her imagination blossom and her reading skills sharpen. She is one creative little girl. We are so blessed to have her in our life.

Emily chose trick candles for herself when we were picking out the cake mix at the store. She loved seeing the looks on the faces of her friends!

daddy/daughter dance

Emily was so happy to be escorted to her school's Daddy/Daughter Dance. She chose her sparkly dress and asked me to curl her hair. They had a great time dancing and playing games!

kindergarten open house

 Emily is very proud of the "ice cream" flower she painted for the open house art show

 We love her kindergarten teacher! She is nurturing and great with the kids.

Jason and I helped Emily think of words that describe her that start with the letters in her name. But she came up with the one for Y- yummy :)
